Powerful features.
Built for cinematic tension.

At the heart of Eclipse is the Tension knob — a powerful control that instantly transforms each preset. With a single twist, you can intensify textures and add dissonance, making your sound evolve in real time.

And that’s just the beginning.

Alongside the Tension knob, Eclipse offers 8 additional sound-shaping controls, giving you infinite sound design possibilities for crafting cinematic ambiences, transitions, and dramatic moments with precision and ease.

Best of all, every control is fully automatable within your DAW — so you can program dynamic changes and expressive movements directly into your timeline.

TEMPO-SYNCED MOTION ELEMENTS
Inject energy and tension with rhythmic textures, eerie loops, and evolving motion layers that follow your project’s BPM.
FLEXIBLE CONTROLS & BUILT-IN FX
Shape motion and tone with LFO, filters, Attack/Release – then add punch and space with built-in Grit and Reverb.

Eclipse in action: creating a cinematic track from scratch

The Eclipse library, designed by Filipe Leitao, is truly astonishing — meticulously crafted, with balanced sounds and a refreshingly simple interface. Divided into two main sections, it is a powerful tool that I highly recommend to sound designers working on trailers and other media compositions.

Eclipse is one of the most versatile plugins I’ve ever used. With just a few knob turns, I created a full cinematic track using 11 of its 17 presets — and every sound inspired the next. It’s intuitive, powerful, and incredibly fun to compose with.

Eclipse is an outstanding cinematic instrument for Kontakt, ideal for composers working on suspenseful, dramatic, or hybrid productions. Its evolving dark textures, and dissonant layers add instant emotional depth and tension to any score. I used it alongside strings, cinematic percussion, vocals, piano, brass, and acoustic drums in a recent composition, and Eclipse stood out as the element that brought atmosphere and cohesion to the entire piece.

Carefully created by a composer for composers.

I’m Filipe Leitão, an award-winning composer, music producer, and sound designer. I’ve worked on films and concert music, with my works recognized at international festivals like Cannes Short Film Corner, Toronto Film Week, and WorldFest Houston. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts from The University of Alabama and an MFA in Music Production and Sound Design for Visual Media from the Academy of Art University. At Virginia Commonwealth University, I developed the Media Scoring program, where I currently teach media scoring, MIDI orchestration, and music production.

As a composer, I’m always searching for tools that let me move fast without losing emotional impact. That’s why I created Eclipse — an instrument built for scoring tension, suspense, and drama with evolving textures, dissonant layers, and tempo-synced motion. Whether you’re working on a film, game, or trailer, Eclipse gives you instant access to cinematic atmosphere without spending hours layering sounds or tweaking effects. It’s a fast, inspiring way to create dark, immersive scores that hit hard.
